History – Vision

Our VISION is:

  •  To bring hope to the children in difficult situations, offering them a family-like environment where they can grow and have a healthy development

Our GOAL is:

  • To offer hope & care to abandoned children
  • To concentrate our efforts in removing the negative effects of abandonment
  • To offer education and a loving athmosphere to the children living at Kiwi House
  • Lobby & advocacy for proper social services involving children in difficult situations, abandoned or institutionalized
  • To offer training in social service & child’s right


  • Kiwi House of Joy was founded in July 2004
  • Our vision was born from the desire to bring hope to orphan children, caring for them at an early age, trying to avoid the negative effects of abandonment.
  • Looking back over the last 10 years, we realize that everything started with a small but same time powerful desire to help the abandoned children
  • Today we are more convinced then ever that this desire will bring us to a bright future.

Kiwi House of Joy means:

  • 10 years of experience in social service involving child protection
  • 10 years of successful partnership with Orphans Aid International, NZ
  • We are licensed for 5 social services
  • Implementing a project within (POR “Developing the social infrastructure”)
  • 61 children were helped through our aid

Kiwi House of Joy is:

  • Founding Member of Romanian Alliance for Orphans, an organisation that fights for the children rights at national level.
  • Partener of DGASPC Mures in resolving the social problems of the community, especially in programs involving the children rights.
  • Active Member of Christian Alliance for Orphans, USA.
  • Member of the network SCR “Actionam Responsabil”.
